Hello
My name is Ida Hedstad, I'm 34 years old, and I live in the idyllic Täby just north of Stockholm. I play football at a high level, have a golf handicap of +2.8, and love to compete. I compete in everything. I'm a fanatic Djurgården supporter, with an extensive education in training, health, and medicine. I am currently in my ninth semester of medical school, working towards becoming a Medicine Doctor (MD) with Orthopedic speciality in Sport Injuries.
My motto as a lecturer:
"If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough".
My Story
I knew from an early age that I wanted to work with people and health. I studied at high school in my hometown of Enköping, and then went on to further my education at the Scandinavian College of Chiropractic in Solna. After that, I completed a specialist grade in Anatomy, Biomechanics and Sports Injuries at the University of Miami. A large part of my work time is dedicated to hands-on activities, where I alternate between lecturing and working on the ground. I set high standards for myself as a lecturer, healthcare provider, and fellow human being, and I am passionate about teaching and spreading knowledge within my areas of expertise.
I have represented Sweden in numerous international games in both football and handball. At the age of 22, I decided to focus on my studies, and since then I have been content with playing in the top or second-highest leagues in Sweden.
At the moment I own and run three companies. Two within the fields of training, health, medicine and education, and one in real estate. I hold an honorary board position at Ullna Golf & Country Club. I am also the founder and owner of the app Coach Buddy.
